FCM urges everyone to join this cause for a better future, EARTH HOUR Malaysia. We will show the world that we too can make a little difference in this world. On the 28th March 2009, turn off all your lights and major household appliance from 8.30 PM onwards for ONE hour to raise awareness of world conservation. It's time for you to choose whether to vote for Earth or for Global Warming. I know I'm definitely voting for EARTH!

Earth Hour is an annual internatioal event created by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature/World Wildlife Fund), held on the last Saturday of March, that asks households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.

It was pioneered by WWF Australia and the Sydney Morning Herald in 2007,[1] and achieved worldwide participation in 2008. Earth Hour will next take place on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 8:30 pm, local time.
